We offer a key position for a Senior IT Buyer in an international environment
As Senior IT Buyer you initiate and execute the necessary procurement activities in close cooperation with European internal customers. Your main commodity includes (but not limited to) IT Hardware, Software and Managed Services. You develop strategic IT purchasing plans driven by internal IT client requirements, distribution and logistics objectives and business economics. You lead the sourcing process, organize the negotiation process with suppliers in close co-operation with the internal IT client, define and support Master Services Agreement, Statement of Work development, and analyse/evaluate rates to optimize supplier engagement. Furthermore you implement measurement systems that clearly indicate the performance level of the IT sourcing strategy and supplier effectiveness. Your focus is on added value, lowest total “life cycle” cost and cost savings.
Bachelor or Master in Business Administration or International Business with additional degree in purchasin, Prince2 foundations, 10+ years track record in a strategic senior buyer function in an international company, Preferably proven experience in purchasing IT commodity, Fluency in English writing and speaking.

Others perceive you as trustful and reliable and appreciate your state of the art knowledge of sourcing landscape, technology solutions, legal and compliancy requirements and business needs. You feel at ease in cross-divisional business teams including European and local IT teams, Legal, and Finance, taking the lead when it comes to negotiating. You have strong negotiation skills and are able to translate potential contractual risks into desired outcomes.
